The golden section, the ideal ratio of lines. This was already known to the ancient Greeks. The formula is a bit complicated, but in fact line A is 1.61 times longer than line B. Calculations can be made up to many decimal places.

This ratio was even used in music by J.S.Bach. This ratio also occurs frequently in nature. This panel and the figures in it are made according to the same proportion.
